Four investigations are being carried out into an explosion on 11 June 2010 which affected some ground floor offices at Galway City Hall. Suspicions are focusing on a large water heater which could have exploded. Separate investigations by the Health and Safety Authority, Garda, Galway City Council and the Fire Service are continuing.
